Dismissal Procedures

A sprawling, low-rise elementary school with a large parking lot sits adjacent to a residential street.

As school is approaching, we would like to communicate our arrival and dismissal procedures, so we are off to a smooth start for the year. For arrival, please ensure the following guidelines are followed.

  • All students must enter through the front door. No exceptions!
  • When walking use designated cross walks
  • No parents are allowed to walk their students in
  • Parents cannot drop their students off in the middle of the street
  • If you are in the car, drop line, you may not exit your vehicle. If you need to access the building, you must park in the designated parking zones.
  • Follow all traffi c directions
  • Any parent access to the building will not be permitted until after 7:40

For dismissal procedures please reference the above chart and follow these guidelines:

  • Car pick-up
    - No parents are allowed in the front of the building. This is for car pick up only
    - Parents are not allowed to exit their vehicles.
    - Parents must line up for pick-up following the map above
    - Pay attention to the traffi c director for a safe dismissal
    - Parents must have the Pick-up card that will be issued the fi rst day of school to pick-up their student. If you do not have this card, then you will have to go to the offi ce with a valid driver's license to pick up your student. - - Please understand that this is for student safety.
  • Walkers
    - Walkers will be escorted to the intersection marked with a stop sign on the map, please ensure your student knows where to go from there.
    - If your student is a walker, you cannot come on campus and must meet your student off campus
  • Walk-up
    - Pick up your student in the designated area
    - All parents need to form a line to pick-up their students. Students will not be released until all parents are in a line
    - Parents must part in the designated parking area marked on the map
    - Parents must use the crosswalk marked with a stop sign on the map to cross the street, No exceptions!
    - Parents must have the Pick-up card that will be issued the fi rst day of school to pick-up their student. If you do not have this card, then you will have to go to the offi ce with a valid driver's license to pick up your student. - - Please understand that this is for student safety.
